The book is a combination of comic pages and augmented reality illustrations.
The comic part tells the personal story of artist Azam Masoumzadeh, related to 11th century poet and scientist Omar Khayyam. She illustrates how his poetry guides her in life, is a constant inspiration and shows what a powerful scientist with contemporary ideas Omar Khayyam was.
In the book there are also 10 illustrations with augmented reality , each inspired by a different poem. They come to life when you scan them with the free Artivive-app: invisible, animated layers become visible on your screen and you hear the beautiful poems in Farsi and Dutch in voice over.
